These are some fun posters I made for Martin Lawlor from Artane in Dublin. Martin organised a Community health fair is Dublin this year and the poster were created to have a local feel and to appeal to a broad section of the community. And they worked, Martin tells me they got a great response.

Group caricature for a birthday

This is one I recently completed and it was fun to do, a birthday caricature featuring 3 couples from Tralee in the beautiful county of Kerry. They all seem like friendly, fun people and are really close to one another. When the main caricature piece was complete I rearranged the composition to include the other couples in the centre so everybody has their own copy with their caricature in the centre.

Putting the ‘H’ into Charicature

When I was making this site I was tempted to call it ‘charicature gifts’ because the majority of emails and correspondence I receive mention ‘charicature’ instead of caricature. It’s an easy mistake though, I am an atrocious speller and heavily rely on the spell check. But I just googled ‘charicature’ and there seems to be a lot of caricature artists using the misspelt word frequently, but I suppose if that’s the perceived spelling you can’t argue with it. Charicature, caracture, character, whatever you want to call it you can find your prefect caricature gift here.

I just finished this fun caricature for a kid called Dimitri from Russia who has been living in Spain for a few months. Best of luck on your travels Dimitri! I heard from the customer that they made a t-shirt with this caricature
