Friday, July 10th, 2009I just finished these two speedy caricatures for Craig and Liam from the ComicCast; Ireland’s premier podcast about comics and cartoons. The lads are from County Kildare I believe but they travel all over Ireland doing interviews for the show.
Wedding Caricature
Thursday, July 2nd, 2009This is a wedding caricature done for Susan and Kevin from County Meath. Kevin is from Tipperary so he wanted the county colours on his T shirt. After sending me the photos I got to work on their caricature. Susan was easy to do but Kevin took a few revisions until she felt I nailed his likeness. This is the downside of working from a photograph sometimes.
They opted for a love heart instead of the usual cartoon bodies and they were really happy with it. And the happy couple were kind enough to send me a picture of the finished wedding signing board. They also told me that their caricature is now hanging in their front room. Best of luck for the future Susan and Kevin!
